First big smiles of 2013

This is the latest installment in my "give them away at work" series.   This morning one of the three quilts I took to our work meeting was definitely more popular than the other two.  Maybe non-quilters are intrigued by something new and different.   I offered a flannel quilt last month and another this month (different pattern).   I've offered several multi-color quilts through the months, and maybe the Cobblestone quilt looked similar to others already offered.

Etchings Q -- 71 x 82"
Mindy, winner of the popular Etchings quilt

The Etchings (Moda) quilt easily caught the most looks and caused the most chatter.  The ladies liked the soft colors--no comments about the pattern or my quilting -- they loved those soft colors.  (floral fabric with gray background for the backing)

Paula won the flannel stepping stones Q

flannel Q -- 59 x 84"

the Cobblestone Q went home with Heather

cobblestone Q -- 65 x 76"

You are such a generous soul Vivian! All your quilts are wonderful, and yes, the ladies do look pleased with their quilts! I have to say I too, love the 'Etchings', it definitely is the fabric line, so feminine!!!

I'm with AnnieO and Mary from Quilt Hollow. I love the same quilt as Annie, and I'd come to work with you along with Mary long enough to win a quilt. How selfish does that sound? : )

As usual I'm impressed and amazed by your generosity.
